This past week we started doing book studies. We split our kids into three groups, based on ability. The three books we read were Chocolate Fever, Amber Brown is Not a Crayon, and The Sandwich That Max Made.
The kids REALLY enjoyed reading these different books! They did comprehension quizzes, worked on cause/effect, fact/opinion, nouns/verbs/adjectives, and much more! They worked on all the same skills, but all of their practice went along with their books.

For Chocolate Fever we used Amy Lemons' awesome pack!
For Amber Brown is Not a Crayon we used my novel study pack.
And for The Sandwich That Max Made we used the mini pack that I created.
