Favorite Christmas Read Alouds! GIVEAWAY!

Hey friends! I can't believe Thanksgiving has come and gone! I hope you were able to spend the day with your loved ones and were able to eat lots of delicious food :) I am so excited that Christmas is just around the corner!

If you are anything like me, you LOVE to read lots and lots of Christmas books to your students! There are SO many cute ones out there! I wanted to have some meaningful activities to go along with some of the books, so I created a pack of activities to go along with 7 of my favorite books!

The books I chose for this pack were It's Christmas, David!, Mooseltoe, Olive, the Other Reindeer, Auntie Claus, What Dogs Want for Christmas, Merry Christmas, Splat, and Snowmen at Christmas. If you don't own these books, you can order them, or I am sure your school or public library has copies!

There are anywhere from 3-5ish activities for each book, and besides the craftivities, they are all pring and go! No prep! And we know that quick and easy is super important during this crazy time of year!! Click on each picture below to enlarge so you can see what is included for each book.

Fun With Blends & Win My New Scoot Game!

Hey friends! TGI{almost}F! This year is already going by SO. QUICKLY!! Time flies when you're having fun! I just cannot get over how stinkin' sweet our class is!

This week we focused on consonant blends! I made this little blender of blends to display. I saw this idea on good ol' Pinterest! 

We used these awesome blend cards I found at the Target Dollar Spot a couple of years ago to review and practice. We have the kids say the blend, then the pictures they see. For example, "fl, fly, fl, flashlight, fl, flicker, fl, flash."

Last minute, I decided to make blenders for our kids to add to their ELA journals! Then we brainstormed words with each blend to add to our journals. 

I posted a new pack of Grammar Scoot Games to my TpT store! I am sooo excited to use these in my class! There are 8 games for your students to practice 8 different grammar skills. Skills covered are complete sentences, nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, proper/common nouns, and plural nouns {regular and irregular}. Click the picture below to check it out! There are 24 cards per set, and each set includes student directions, student record sheet, and an answer key. Here's a look at some of the cards! I plan to print them on bright, colorful cardstock!

Spring & Easter Packs... GIVEAWAY TIME!!

I am sitting here at home, enjoying a snow day! It's amazing how much I can get done with an extra day at home by myself! My house is nice and clean, and I finally got some TpT work done! If only we had an extra day every week :)

I first wanted to show you what I fiiiiiinally finished today! This baby had been sitting in my documents, unfinished, FOREVER. I would work on it here and there but couldn't really get into it. I think the exhaustion from the first trimester might be to blame. BUT it is finally up and posted!
