Edible Landforms Project!

I am not going to lie... Since I can remember, I have always thought Social Studies was pretty boring and blah, especially when it comes to Geography. It is probably my least favorite subject to teach. One skill we must teach is about landforms and specific US landforms. How do you make that fun?! Well, just make it yummy, of course!! After reading some books, looking at some maps, and looking at a powerpoint presentation about landforms {BORING}, we made THESE!

Omiword! The kids flipped for this, and I am pretty sure they have a really good grasp on different US landforms :) In my new Edible Landforms Project mini-pack, you will get detailed teacher directions, templates and printables. Check it out by clicking {HERE} or by clicking the picture below!

As always, I will be giving a copy away! Just leave me a comment and don't forget your email! And if you don't win, you're in luck-this is only a buck!

  3. This is awesome!!! I love the tortilla underneath! At first I thought it was frosting (wishful thinking from my sweet tooth?), but then I was glad to see it was a tortilla--those would have been some hyper littles! Thank you for sharing the idea! This is one of those things that your kiddos will remember for a long, long time :) :)

    1. They LOVED this!! We let them eat the leftover candy {which wasn't a TON} but they had to teach someone at home about their landforms before they could eat it :)
