Look what's in the works!! {and a GIVEAWAY}

20 days. TWENTY. DAYS. I feel like Amy and I have 345,859,124 things to do before the year is over!! Luckily we are fiiiinally done with all of our year end reading assessments, PTL! We still need to do our year end math assessment and CogAT testing to see who qualifies for our Gifted program in 3rd grade. Then you add our talent show, Super Kids Day, Academic Awards Assembly, Egg-o-nauts, a magician.... uh yeah, no time left!

We like to make sure the end of year is extra fun and memorable for our kiddos, so we do a 10 day countdown. Each day there is a special surprise for the kids! We do Read to Self outside, sidewalk chalk, popsicle party, Luau, Minute to Win It {just to name a few!} The kids LOVE it, and it helps our sanity a bit :) Our countdown will start on May 9th! I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!

Then we are going to squeeze in our Memory Books and Hello...Goodbye craftivity, our Summer Lovin' glyph, as well as Mother's Day gifts! Omiword, I am getting really overwhelmed just typing all of this!

We like to do awards in class with our kiddos. Last year I made up some awards that were... not so cute. So I have trashed them and started fresh {thank God for Powerpoint!!} Take a peek at what I will be posting in the next few days! So far I've got about 28 awards. I think they will look great printed on brightly colored paper!! Leave me some ideas of awards you'd like to see!

Uh, and did you see THIS adorable idea?? We will definitely be having a 2nd grade red carpet!

Okay. I feel like I just rambled... So onto the giveaway. Yesterday I promised that I would give away my Summer Lovin' Year End Glyph. I was waiting until my TpT got fixed, but realized that summer is right around the corner!!! Leave me a comment telling me your favorite part of summer, and I will pick a winner! **Don't forget to leave your email address!**

Here's what's inside for a buck!

  3. Usually my favorite part of summer is not having to wake up soooo early for work but this July my little baby is turning 1, so I'm looking forward to celebrating her 1st birthday and all of the little milestones before we hit the "Terrible Twos"!`
